The purpose of this acquisition is for a utilities contract to provide 3 phase power upgrades to Oahe Project North Dakota Beaver Creek Recreation Areas. The contractor shall provide electric service upgrade to the Government facilities at Beaver Creek Recreation Areas in a manner and form consistent with (1) all applicable laws, regulations, permits, and electric code, and (2) the facilities’ service requirements. The statutory authority for this non-competitive acquisition is 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b) Soliciting from a single source (1) for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. (i) Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.
