REQUIREMENT DESCRIPTION:The Government has a potential requirement for up to 150 snow/ski helmets in various sizes (Small, Medium, and Large).All proposed helmets must strictly adhere to the specifications outlined in Helmet Characteristics v3, which include but are not limited to the following salient characteristics:Safety Certification: Must be fully certified to ASTM F2040 standards.Rotational Force Protection: Must be MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) compliant or feature an equivalent rotational impact protection technology.Fit System: Must feature an integrated, adjustable fit system (e.g., dial or micro-adjust system) to allow for customized sizing.Ventilation:Must include adjustable ventilation (controllable airflow systems).4. CAPABILITY STATEMENT SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:Interested vendors who believe they possess the capability to provide these items are invited to submit a Capability Statement.
