## Description

The purpose of this sources sought notice is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist by determining if this effort can be successfully competed and/or set-aside for Small Businesses. The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 339112- Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment, and Supplies the size standard is 1000 employees. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement.

The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran- Owned, HubZone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. Medical Readiness Contracting Office - West JBSA Fort Sam Houston, Texas, is seeking potential sources to provide Hematology Platelet Analyzer. The Government’s requirement for Hematology Platelet Analyzer for Department of Pathology and Arca Laboratory Services (DPLAS), Brooke Army Medical Center, JBSA Fort Sam Houston, Texas. All listed salient characteristics are applicable to Hematology Platelet Analyzer are listed below:

Report a qualitative test for platelet aggregation Report the extent of platelet aggregation as aspirin reaction units Report the extent of platelet aggregation in P2Y12 reaction units Require no sample dilution; collected in a 2-3 mL 3.2% sodium citrate tube Runs electronic quality control as the primary quality control mechanism Runs two levels of wet quality controls consisting of an optically absorbent solution and a pellet Archive capacity of 150 test records and l 00 QC records Shall have built in printer capability Shall have normal test analysis time of 3-5 minutes Capable to perfom1 external proficiency testing (ie CAP survey) Vendor shall provide operator and technical training during installation FDA Certificate This is not a solicitation.
