The incumbent contractor shall provide the Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Science (SC) an online journal subscription for online access to the American Institute of Physics journals listed below. Subscription is by calendar year. Access is restricted to the Office of Science. DOE is provided with a direct link to the website which is listed on the OSTI.gov website under the pulldown tab labeled research tools via the SCeJournals link button. This for the Office of Science and is not publically accessible. Subscription period is for the 2025 calendar year. DOE intends to award this requirement as a sole source to American Institute of Physics with a 12-month period. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 513120 – Periodical Publishers, with the size standard of 1,000 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotes. Any vendor who believes it is capable of meeting the DOE-OSTI’s requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which will be considered only if received by August 26, 2024 by 5:00 p.m. EST. Responses to this posting must be in writing and submitted to paynet@osti.gov. A determination not to compete the proposed order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
