## Description

**SPECIAL NOTICE:** The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Louisville District will be soliciting proposals for the Design-Build Maintenance and Repair Army Reserve (MRAR) of the existing Equipment Concentration Site (ECS), B-56767 at Fort Cavazos, TX.

As part of the construction contract solicitation, the USACE intends to include the following Brand-Name Sole Source requirement: Fire Alarm Monitoring System - Use of brand name equipment, Monaco Enterprises Incorporated (MEI) fire alarm radio, alarm transceiver, which are primarily comprised of proprietary software developed by MEI and MEI licensed vendors, is the only system compatible with the installation fire protection standards and is necessary to maintain integrity with the installation-wide fire alarm system.

This is NOT a solicitation for competitive proposals; however, if any interested party believes that they can meet the above requirement, they may submit a capability statement to the point of contact listed in this Special Notice. All information furnished must be in writing and must contain sufficient detail to allow USACE to be able to determine if the interested party can perform the requirement described herein.

All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The submission must be received no later than 2:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) on 24 March 2025 to Bonny.C.Dylewski@usace.army.mil.
