Due to the heavy usage, the systems must be calibrated and serviced periodically. In addition, they must be repaired quickly when failures occur. It is essential that the systems be restored to full operation as soon as possible to avoid downtime. It is critical to maintain and service the LSM 880 super resolution microscope being used in imaging experiments taking place at the TIF in the support of many projects.
