The Vaccine Research Center’s (VRC) Translational Research Program (TRP) utilizes Heska Hematology Analyzers for processing NHP (non-human primate) blood samples efficiently and accurately, which are essential for the various research studies conducted by the VRC/TRP. The improved capabilities of the HT5+ analyzer include faster processing times, increased accuracy in analyzing blood parameters, expanded range of parameters that can be measured, or new features that simplify data management and analysis. These advancements can contribute significantly to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the research goals pursued by the VRC. Requirements include an upgrade of an existing Heska Hematology Analyzer to the newer HT5+ model which has enhanced capabilities. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) has a requirement for a quantity -1 of the following Brand Name Supplies: Element HT5+™ Veterinary Hematology Analyzer (includes 6 months automatic shipment of hematology normal level controls) SHIPPING AND HANDLING Period of Performance: 60 DAYS ARO Place of Delivery: NIH, 40 Convent Drive, Bethesda, MD 20892 The statutory authority for this sole source requirement is 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1 only one responsible source and no other supply of service will satisfy agency requirements.
