The animals that must be imaged during the ABSL3 infection experiments include marmosets, rabbits, and macaques. Cardinal Health has provided F18/FDG for the past, current and ongoing research projects. The laboratory must use the same product or risk jeopardizing and hindering research by varying results. The F18 FDG must be pharmaceutical grade for injection and has been approved for use by the NIH NIAID Animal Care and Committee and must follow the Division of Radiation Safety and the Nuclear Radiation Commission guidelines and regulations. Place of Performance is Bethesda, MD 20892.
