This equipment is essential when comprehensively quantifying vestibular physiology. Rotational testing is a principal component when performing a comprehensive vestibular assessment and is critical to profiling both central and peripheral physiology for clinical and neuroscience research (e.g., Traumatic Brain Injury, Gaucher Disease, MS). The NOTC-R is manufactured and distributed exclusively by Neurolign by Spryson America, Inc (Pittsburgh, PA). This purchase is replacing (and upgrading) an existing NOTC system that was purchased in March of 2008 (16 years) and was recently sunsetted by Neurolign in October of 2022 due to increasing uncertainty in acquisition of engineering components that are no available should they fail. As such, continued Maintenance & Service Software Agreements were terminated by Neurolign in October of 2022.
