## Description

NGG modernizes existing DAF infrastructure to provide Zero Trust Capabilities. The NGG implementation must be capable of sustaining a throughput of 40Gb/s (threshold)/ 100Gb/s (objective) at the CEDCs and 10Gb/s (threshold)/ 40Gb/s (objective) at the base boundary (Main Operating Bases). NGG Phase 1 is currently being deployed to 13 CEDCs.

NGG Phase 2 will extend the rollout of a Zero Trust solution to all 187+ Main Operating Bases (MOBs), which include the 13+ CEDCs from Phase 1 and the 174+ base boundaries (Main Operating Bases). NGG Phase 2 will determine architecture, design, functionality, products, and integration services to deploy a suitable solution to a flexible infrastructure on both NIPRNet and SIPRNet sites. These solutions must be able to support integration with approved Cloud Service Providers. This includes integration with SaaS and Cloud ONE (Azure, AWS, GCP, and OCI) for UNCLASS (IL2 – IL5), and SECRET (IL6) through DoD approved connections.
