This system is heavily used, specifically for a current study designed to evaluate the toxicity of ortho-phthaldehyde aerosols in human air-liquid-interface (ALI) airway tissue models. The unique properties of aerosols and delivery of test articles from them requires the sophisticated, specialized instrumentation provided by the Vitrocell exposure system.
