The statutory authority for this acquisition is 41 USC 3304(a)(1); FAR 13.106-1(b). Minimum Requirements: Nanoparticle Nebulizer that minimizes interference from non-volatile particle precursors. Quantity: 2 Technical Specifications Contains both particle generator and focused aerosol deposition system in one. Collection efficiency ? 100 % for particles as small as 5 nm Does not require particles to be charged for collection. Collection area much smaller than 1 mm. Utilize 120 VAC. Market research was performed in October 2024, including web searches, GSA Advantage searches, and Thomas Register searches to determine sources that could meet the Government’s requirements. This market research determined that Kanomax FMT is the sole manufacturer and distributor of the equipment that meets the required minimum specifications. No other manufacturer found could meet the output size distribution and produce particles from liquid. *****The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334516 - Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. *****A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. *****No solicitation package will be issued.
