## Description

Notice of Intent to sole source to 3M Company to produce FK-800 Copolymer up to 32,000 pounds.

3M has been the only qualified source for production of FK-800 Resin, the design for which was developed over time with participation and approval by the Government to meet the Government-approved specifications, and which has been used by the Government as the bonding agent for the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) PBX 9502 and LLNL LX-17 explosive molding powder granules, LANL Mock explosive 900-24, and other materials.

Authority 41 USC 3304(a)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
