## Description

The training consists of LCS tailored 4-days of simulator training and shall focus efforts on the safe maneuvering of the LCS through river waters, which are unfamiliar to the crew. The training will also provide simulator training on how LCS should approach and make up to a lock with both one and two tugs. LCS transit 15 locks from Lake Michigan to the Atlantic Ocean. Additionally, pier work will be accomplished with varying river currents to simulate mooring and getting underway in a river port, like Quebec City.
