Each Radar Signal Simulator requires a test, evaluation, and repair in order to return the units to operational condition and to ensure Fleet readiness. Harris Corporation is the designer, developer and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the Radar Signal Simulator units, and retains all the proprietary/ technical data rights required in order to perform approved and necessary repairs of the simulators. The Radar Signal Simulator produces artificial radar echoes in order to test the radar equipment on various Navy and Marine Corps aircraft. Included in the purchase: - Perform repairs on Radar Signal Simulators to bring the units back to operational condition. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.
