The Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) has a requirement for parts and repair on the Walter 5-Axis Tool and Cutting Grinding Center. This equipment needs to be brought back to operational status. United Grinding currently holds the OEM license for this machine. They have the patents, drawings, and all proprietary information needed to complete the repair. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within five (5) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered.
