## Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with Fluke Electronics Corp (CAGE 4U744) located in Everett, WA for the procurement of up to a quantity of 210 each Fluke Calibration Transconductance Amplifier, Part number 52120A-C/COILKIT.

The Government intends to procure the above items under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 3204(a)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or ser-vices will satisfy agency requirements." Fluke Electronics Corp is the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the 52120A-C/COILKIT.  Each 52120A-C/COILKIT will be used with multifunction calibrators to calibrate digital multimeters, current meters, weapons test sets and various other unique electronic test equipment within Navy inventory.  This exact part number is required to support existing instrument calibration procedures and cannot be substituted.   Part Number 52120A-C/COILKIT is specifically designed to operate with and be controlled by the incumbent multifunction calibrators in use by the Navy.

This notification is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this pre-solicitation notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation will be available for this procurement.
