## Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, New Jersey intends to issue a sole-source Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC)

**(Cage:** 1LTU5). The anticipated FFP contract is to procure approximately seven (7) Countermeasures Signals Simulators (Part Number (P/N) 3313-AS-C01-5, National Stock Numbers (NSN) 5865-01-618-5494) in support of the H-60 Program. This contracting action is being pursued on a sole-source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C.

3204 (a)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements." NGSC is the sole designer, developer, integrator, and the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the Countermeasures Signals Simulator. Unless otherwise stated herein, no formal request for proposal or additional written information is currently available. A determination by the Government not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government.

All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which will be considered by the agency. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Subcontracting opportunities should be sought directly from NGSC. There are no commitments by the Government to issue any solicitations, make an award, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the efforts mentioned above.
