The End Seal, Water Separator is required to perform leakage tests on the Water Separator (P/N: 3311050-1) during operational maintenance of the C-130 aircraft. The Government intends to award a Fixed-Price Purchase Order type contract. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole-source basis under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6103-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis.
