## Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with The Boeing Company (CAGE: 0PXV4) for the procurement, production, and delivery of Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) tooling. The Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) supports the F/A-18EF and EA-18G Aircraft Depot Level (D-Level) of maintenance and repair of the Inner Wing Panel (IWP) Forward Spar Idler Lugs.

The tooling being procured is one (1) Assembly Facility Tool – Front Spar Idler Lug Repair, LH (P/N AFT74R092412-5001TD), one (1) Assembly Facility Tool – Front Spar Idler Lug Repair, RH (P/N AFT74R092412-5001TD), one (1) Router Guide Repair Tool (P/N SPT00- 74R092411-5101), and one (1) Tool Kit – Front Spar Idler Lug Repair (P/N TK00-74R092411-5101). This contract with have five (5) option quantites for each tool.

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration.

A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for an award of a contract.

Responses must be received within fifteen (15) days of publication of this notice via email no later than 24 September 2025 at 2:00 P.M. EDT to Daniel O'Donnell at daniel.p.odonnell17.civ@us.navy.mil. Content should be limited to ten (10) pages.
