A quantity of four (4) for the Japan Air Self-Defense Force E-2D Aircraft and a quantity of two (2) for the French Ministry of Defense E-2D Aircraft. This is a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) procurement for Japan FMS Case JA-P-CVL and France FR-P-SBM. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 3204(a) (1), FAR 6.302-1only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a response in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based on the response to this notice, is solely in the discretion of the Government.
