The Government intends to procure the above items under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, \"Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.\" Mensor, LP is the only manufacturer of a pressure transducer that can meet the Government’s ETIRS requirement for direct digital output, pressure ranges, exterior ambient temperature range and required calibration interval requirement.. This notification is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
