## Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price type contract, on a sole source basis, to EAA Tools, Inc. located in Mesa, AZ (CAGE: 9PVP() for the manufacture of a quantity of two hundred and twenty-five (225)

**Low Collective Gauge, P/N:** LCG-60-AA in support of the H-60 Helicopter Program. The Low Collective Gage (P/N LCG-60-AA) is used to verify the below range. Currently bolts are measured with calipers, but due to location on the aircraft, it is very difficult to get an accurate measurement of the bolt, leading to potentially incorrect settings. H-60 aircraft are required to be rigged in the collective channel to facilitate proper collective range and ensure proper control calibration.

This range is established by the low collective stop bolt at the base of the collective stick. EAA Tools, Inc. owns all proprietary rights to the engineering data and detailed product drawings. EAA Tools, Inc. is the only manufacturers with the unique technical expertise to supply these items.

An adequate purchase description or other information suitable to solicit by full and open competition has not been developed because the Government does not have sufficient engineering data or drawings to organically design the above items and enable a competitive procurement. EAA Tools, Inc. is the only source that is capable of providing the above item to the same form, fit and function that is compatible with the existing configurations.

Registration in the Department of Defense DoD System for Award Management (SAM) database will be a prerequisite for receiving an award. For more information on the SAM, refer to the SAM website at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM. THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. This synopsis is for administrative purposes only.

It does not constitute a solicitation for bid or proposals, and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government. The information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a competitive contract.
