## Description

Presolicitation number/Notice ID has changed from N6833523R0137 to N6833524R0008. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, New Jersey, intends to enter negotiations on a non-competitive basis with Hydraulics International, Inc. (HII), Chatsworth, CA for the manufacture, assembly, test and delivery of the Portable Hydraulic Power Supply (PHPS), Diesel, Part Number 111025-100, National Stock Number 4920-016-18-8809, for the V-22 Osprey Aircraft; CMV-22 and MV-22 variants.

HII is the only source of supply for the Diesel PHPS as it is the original equipment manufacturer and in possession of the complete drawing package to allow for manufacturing that meets the unique maintenance requirements of the V-22 aircraft.

The Diesel PHPS is a single system hydraulic pumping unit with a rated capacity of 50 Gallons Per Minute (GPM) at 3000 Pounds Per Square Inch (PSI) and 32 GPM at 5000 PSI designed to power the aircraft hydraulic systems for operational maintenance and testing of aircraft hydraulic components while on aircraft, delivering hydraulic fluid at controlled pressures without the necessity of starting the aircraft engine(s). A stand-alone firm-fixed priced contract is anticipated. Delivery will be F.O.B.

Origin for the domestic unit(s). The Government intends to procure this requirement under the authority of 10 USC 2304(a)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Section 6.302-1. All responsible sources may submit a response which may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS.

A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for an award of a contract.
