## Description

Ship maintenance and repair contractors are invited to attend the Industry Day for Battle Damage Assessment Repair (BDAR) at HMNB Clyde in Faslane, UK, between 28-29 August, 2024. Industry Day for BDAR will be hosted by representatives from U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa/U.S. Sixth Fleet; Forward Deployed Regional Maintenance Center (FDRMC) Naples, Italy; Mid Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC), Norfolk, Virginia; and Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Naples, Italy.

On 28 August, 2024, a decommissioned frigate will be available for guided topside tours (safety permitting) to contractors in order to show system and equipment casualties, and discuss requirements for urgent and emergent ship repairs. Following morning tour(s), United States Navy representatives will provide a brief on contracting and maintenance & repair processes to contractors.

Additionally, the United States Navy would like to understand and receive feedback from contractors on ability to support emergent ship repair requirements, and invite industry briefs to government representatives on 28 and 29 August 2024.
