NUWCDIVNPT intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract to Curtiss-Wright DS, Inc. (CAGE Code 0Y9V5) on a sole source basis to maintain compatibility between components and as Curtiss-Wright does not authorize resellers. The Government estimates the associated impacts to budget and schedule by moving to a different manufacturer would be too costly to offset the potential savings from competition. A determination not to compete this proposed requirement based on responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government.
