## Description

This requirement covers supplies and services necessary to perform routine maintenance and repair and upgrades to hull, navigation, Inertial Navigation System (INS), and tail assembly to support depth modifications. In addition, this requirement covers the assessment, repair, maintenance, and upgrade to return the Iver3 580 vehicles 761 and 762 to a fully operational state with enhanced depth capabilities to 200m along with maintenance and modernization to the INS and tail assembly.

The Contractor shall assess the current condition of both vehicles and then repair, maintain, and upgrade both systems. This contract action was awarded under an Exception to Fair Opportunity (ETFO) under the Undersea Weapons/Undersea Defense Family Systems Multiple Award Contract (MAC), in accordance with FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(B), as only L3 Technologies, Inc. can provide the specialized services and proprietary maintenance required to maintain and upgrade these vehicles.
