The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific's intent to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to Altair Engineering, CAGE Code 1F7F6, of 1820 East Big Beaver Troy MI 48083. The requirement is for the following: Manufacturer: Altair Engineering Description: Altair Software Units Annual Support and Maintenance – Enterprise Suite Part Number: AU-ENT-STD-MTN Quantity: 90 per year Term: 1 year base plus 4 option years (not to exceed) The Government intends to negotiate the purchase order on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), only one source capable of meeting the Government's requirement. FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial items, apply. However, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. A copy of the Request for Quote will be made available upon request. The applicable NAICS Code is 513210 – Software Publishers and the size standard is $47,000,000 average annual receipts.
