## Description

The Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC PACIFIC) hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Commercial, Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis with UCSD. The requirement is for the purchase of the following:

ITEM 0001 CAP Membership (Period of performance: 1 JAN 2025 - 31 DEC 2025) ITEM 0002 Senior Design Project Curriculum Support The CAP Membership includes, although not limited to, access to students and internship opportunities, participation in meetings on research and development collaboration, annual resume services, and curriculum development. The membership provides NIWC Pacific the ability to recruit, train, and hire exceptional technical personnel.

Only UCSD has this membership with access to the Jacobs School of Engineering. Based on the attached redacted approved Justification for Non-Competitive Procurement (JNCP, the agency has identified only one reasonable source, and no other supplier will satisfy agency requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government.

However, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The applicable NAICS Code is 611310 and the business size is $34.5 million. The point of contract for this announcement is Hannah Chichester at hannah.m.chichester.civ@us.navy.mil . Be advised that the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not binding. A copy of the Request for Quote will be made available upon request.
