The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific's intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to Advanced Measurement Technology, Inc. (hereafter \"AMETEK ORTEC\"), (CAGE: 23070) of 801 S Illinois AVE Oak Ridge, Tennessee 37830-91015, United States This requirement is for the following assets meeting the noted specification & capability requirements: Item 0001: P/N: Detective-X-8-N Description: Gamma and Neutron Identifier up to 8MeV Mfg: AMETEK ORTEC QTY: 41 Item 0002: P/N: Detective-X-ACC-BAT Description: Lithium-Ion Battery Mfg: AMETEK ORTEC QTY: 41 Item 0003: P/N: Detective-X-ACC-DUAL-CHGR Description: Dual Battery charger and calibrator Mfg: AMETEK ORTEC QTY: 41 Specification & Capability Requirements: •High Purity Germanium (HPGe) efficiency at 1333 keV> 40%, at 2223 keV > 60% •Neutron Module: Lithium-6 fluoride/zinc sulfate (Li6F/ZnS), or ANSI N42.34 2015 compliant. •Equip with mechanical cooler (eg. Stirling Cryostate technology) •Able to connect to Android Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK) •Minimum 8-hour battery life under normal operation •Detector weight <20 lbs The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901, as implemented by FAR subpart 13.5. Acquisition of Commercial Items under FAR Part 12 and Simplified Acquisitions Procedures under FAR Part 13.5 apply. The applicable NAICS Code is 334519 - Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing, and the business size standard is 600 employees.
