The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific's intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to Radiation Detection Technologies, Inc. Entity ID G4A7QVKSENF5, CAGE Code 6RS99, of 4786 Lake Elbo RD Manhattan, Kansas 66502- 1473, United States The requirement is for the following Radiation Detection Technologies neutron detectors: Manufacturer: Radiation Detection Technologies, Inc. Description: 4-strip microstructured neutron detectors (MSNDS) Part Number: SRM 4S-MSND Quantity: 60 The Government intends to negotiate solely with L3 Technologies, Inc. under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), only one source capable of meeting the Government's requirement. FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR part 12 Acquisition of Commercial items, applies. However, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. A copy of the Request for Quote will be made available upon request.
