The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific's intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to Starfire Industries, LLC. Entity ID GZ2MY2S55JW9, CAGE Code 3ECK7, of 3310 N Duncan RD Champaign, Illinois 61822-8948, United States The requirement is for the following Starfire Industries Neutron Generator and custom shroud:

FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR part 12 Acquisition of Commercial items, applies. However, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.

A copy of the Request for Quote will be made available upon request. The applicable NAICS Code is 334517 - Irradiation Apparatus Manufacturing and the size standard is 1200 Employees. Please be advised the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not binding. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any responsible source believing that it can fulfill the requirement may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.

Interest parties must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy, and reliability of services provided. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Capability statements, comments, questions, or concerns regarding this notice shall be submitted via email ONLY to dane.j.black.civ@us.navy.mil by 07 May 2024, 12 PM Pacific Time.
