## Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia has a requirement for RTI DDS License, this will be fulfilled on a Sole Source basis. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b) (1) (i). The subject requisition is for the purchase of RTI DDS License for the eRM – MPCMS integration for the LCS Freedom Variant Class.

This directly supports the Condition Based Maintenance Plus (CBM+) program and the installation of the enterprise remote monitoring (eRM) system on the LCS 1 variant. NSWCPD will be required to procure an Real-Time Innovations (RTI) “middleware” license to facilitate the communication between the control system (MPCMS) and the eRM unit.

Using the RTI middleware, eRM collects Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E) equipment data from the LCS control system (MPCMS) in order to implement shipboard Condition Based Maintenance (CBM).
