The prospective contractor will provide Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) industrial-grade networking hardware and components manufactured by Siemens RUGGEDCOM. The networking equipment is currently used on operational hulls and is actively being installed as part of on-going modernization and new ship acquisition programs across multiple ship classes (LPD 17, LHD 1, DDG 51, LHD 1, CVN 68/78, LSD 41/49, CG 47, and MCM 1) as part of their Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E) and Navigation network infrastructures. This notice does NOT constitute a Request for Proposal. This notice shall not be construed as a contract, a promise to contract, or as a commitment of any kind by the Government. The Government is NOT seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. This notice is issued solely for conducting market research in accordance with FAR Part 10 and gathering information for planning purposes.
