## Description

This presolicitation notice is being issued by Department of the Navy (US Navy), Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD). NSWCPD has a requirement for commercial depot level repairs of US Navy 501-K17 Gas Turbine Engine, National Stock Number (NSN) 2835-00-612-0730, 501-K Series Marine Gas Turbine Compressor, NSN 2835-01-286-4790, and the 501-K17 Marine Gas Turbine Power Turbine, NSN 2835-01-243-3722.

It is the Government's intention to identify vendors to provide these repair services on a limited sources basis IAW FAR 6302-1. Potential awardees must be an established commercial repair facility with Rolls Royce Marine North America (RRMNA) and possess a valid Authorized Maintenance Repair and Overhaul Center (AMROC) agreement. This notice is for market research purposes only and does NOT constitute a Request for Proposal.

This notice shall not be construed as a contract, a promise of contract, or as a commitment of any kind by the Government. The Government is NOT seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. This notice is issued solely for conducting market research in accorcance with FAR Part 10 and gathering information for planning purposes. The Governemnt WILL NOT PAY for any information received, and the Government will not compensate the respondent for any cost incurred in developing the response to this notice.

The Government will not release any information marked with a proprietary legend received in response to this notice to any firms, agencies or individuals outside the Government without written permission in accordane with the legend. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned.
