## Description

**Notice Type:** Synopsis Man Overboard Indicator (MOBI) Systems Support N64498-24-R-4033 The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) is seeking award to provide non-personal services for research and development, test and evaluation, engineering and fleet support organization for the Navy’s ships, submarines, military watercraft and unmanned vehicles. This requirement is in support for the Man Overboard Indicator (MOBI) Systems Support on U. S. Navy ships.

Pursuant to 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), Briartek is the only responsible source capable of fulfilling the Navy's requirements for the specified effort. The proposed award and resulting contract is for MOBI support and ship installations that meet the US Navy's requirements for engineering and technical services for the Man Overboard Indicator (MOBI) system for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302.

MOBI holds key patents for critical Man Overboard Indicator system materials. For the continued installation and support of the Navy's MOBI Systems, Briartek is the only reasonable source with capabilities to meet the minimum requirements, both technical and schedule to support the program. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties, however, may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement.

The Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of this synopsis. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
