The contractor shall provide technical team, with verified expertise, of the High Pressure and Low Pressure Propulsion Turbine Rotors and associated equipment work items for engineering, inspection, maintenance, overhaul kits (Steam Critical Spares Program), and repair, and fabrication. This acquisition will also provide refurbishment and engineering in order to support Life Cycle Engineering and Critical Spares Equipment Rotatable Pool Management. Pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), Northrop Grumman System Corporation is the only responsible source capable of fulfilling the Navy’s requirements for the specified effort. The proposed award and resulting contract modifications are for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties, however, may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement. The Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of this synopsis.
