Notice Type: Sources Sought Response Date: July 8, 2024, 11:00 am Thailand Time This notice aims to provide public notice of a forthcoming project in Barangay Tagusao, Quezon, Palawan, Philippines. The government plans to issue a solicitation approximately July 2024. This notice also aims to collect names of contractors interested in attending the site visit for the Base Access Request (BAR) that will be facilitated by the US Government. Projects Description: This is a Design-Build (DB) project to provide a compliant design and construction works located within Barangay Tagusao, Quezon, Palawan, Philippines. This project must be designed and constructed in accordance with either Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), International Building Codes (IBC), or Philippines Codes as stated in the Request for Proposal (RFP). The proposed project is as follows: Design Build Construction of Barracks. Project consists of design and construction of a 780 SM, two-story military type Barracks for billeting sixty (60) personnel. The first floor has three (3) individual rooms with attached toilet and bath, one administrative room, one conference room, climate controlled storage room, fitness gym, service toilet, generator, and electrical rooms. The second floor is an open bay style male barracks and latrine, laundry room and open area for drying of clothes. Project includes all utilities, furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Project Magnitude is between US$1,000,000 and US$5,000,000 (FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects). Offeror experience requires project construction similar in size, scope, and complexity performed in Southeast Asia, Nepal, Maldives, and Timor Leste. A Pre-Proposal Site Visit (PPSV) for this project is tentatively scheduled in the mid of July 2024. The site visit is to provide Offerors with an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the job sites and conditions to be encountered and is not for the purpose of answering questions.
