Place of Performance: Onboard Fleet Activities Sasebo, Japan. Under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), the Contracting Officer has determined that YAMAGUCHI MACHINERY is the only reasonably available source capable of performing these urgent shipboard repair services due to specialized capabilities, technical qualifications, and responsiveness to critical requirement. 3. Brief Description of Requirement The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, and certified technical personnel to accomplish the following shipboard repair services onboard USS PATRIOT (MCM-7): Job Specification 38KNA47632-00-A01 Magnetic Cable Reel; repair 4.
