## Description

MASTER AGREEMENT FOR THE REPAIR AND ALTERATION OF VESSELS (MARAV): In the event the successful offeror possesses a Master Agreement for Repair and Alteration of Vessels (MARAV) with the U.S. Navy in the form of either a Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) or an Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR), award for this requirement will be made in the form of a firm fixed price job order under the applicable agreement and all of the terms and conditions of the offer’s existing MARAV will apply.

Firms who do not possess an MSRA/ABR are ineligible for award unless adequate time exists to permit the Navy to perform an assessment of their MSRA/ABR application and to execute the applicable MSRA/ABR without impacting the vessel’s availability dates. Pursuant to FAR 5.202(a) (12), this is a non-mandatory synopsis. This solicitation is intended only for sources duly authorized to operate and do business in Japan as prescribed by DFARS 225.1103(3).

1. USS DEWEY (DDG-105), NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka (NAVSUP FLCY) has a new requirement in support of the USS DEWEY (DDG-105). The repair and maintenance package of work items are included as Attachment (1) 2. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 02-Jun-2025 through 20-Jul-2025 3. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE:

**Government Facility 4. OFFER:** Offerors must provide all information required by this solicitation no later than 09-Apr-2025 at 10:00 a.m. Japan Standard Time (JST). 5. Access to the work specification package listed in Section J as ATTACHMENT (I) may only be accessed through DoD SAFE. DoD SAFE is a secure U.S. Government repository which enables the sharing of large files and requires outside users to receive a drop-off request from the U.S.Government. Therefore, any offeror intending to provide a proposal to this solicitation shall request access by sending an email to:
