## Description

This contract action was not awarded competitively due to on February 15, 2024, the determination was made to cancel the subject Base Operating Services Contract (BOSC) immediately in predominant consideration of the possibility that contractor proposal information and/or source selection sensitive material was disclosed by Government personnel before award of the subject procurement.

The BOSC was initiated by the Public Works Core and during the pre-award phase decided to cancel due to the possibility that contractor proposal information being disclosed. The PW Core went beyond their planned award date and put Naval Base Coronado in a difficult predicament in order award another contract prior to the contract completion date of the current custodial contract.
