Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) is conducting market research to determine industry capability and interest in performing the follow-on indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for Commercial Industrial Services (CIS) Safety Nets Fabrication Services Contract for the removal of existing and installation of new safety nets. The primary purpose of the CIS Safety Nets Fabrication Services contract is to provide labor, services, equipment, and materials for the removal, fabrication, pre-fit, weight test, and installation of trunk, access, barrier, and flight deck safety nets (nylon webbing or High Performance Cordage) to include new safety hooks onboard U.S. Navy ships within a 50-mile radius of San Diego, CA. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and facilities required to accomplish the work in the draft Statement of Work. SWRMC is especially interested in determining small business capability and interest. The anticipated RFP release date is on or around Wednesday, 09 July 2025 (subject to change). SWRMC is contemplating award of a multiple award IDIQ firm fixed price contract for the requirement specified in the attached draft Statement of Work.
