Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) is conducting market research to determine industry’s capability to provide Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) direct replacement parts and components for the USS SOMERSET (LPD-25) to directly replace parts for the side port door and the bridge crane. This is in direct support of the upcoming FY25 Dry Docking Selected Restricted Availability (DSRA). See Product Description List (Enclosure (1)). The contractor shall furnish ALL materials required in the Product Description List. SWRMC is especially interested in determining small business capability and interest. SWRMC is contemplating award of a firm fixed price contract for the requirement specified in the attached Product Description List. The applicable NAICS code NAICS 332510- Hardware Manufacturing. What/Where to Submit: Interested companies should submit, on company letterhead, a letter of interest including the name, telephone number, mailing address, and e-mail address of one point of contact. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is NAICS 332510, Hardware Manufacturing, and the business size standard is 750 employees. Jered LLC is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The required parts must be replaced with the same material previously used and must have the same function capability as these parts are attached to the component. In addition, the replacement part must be compatible in all aspects to form, fit, and function with existing equipment. Jered LLC has no authorized distributors and is the only known source available to acquire the required part. This notice is neither a request nor a solicitation of offers; however, all information received within 15 days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be reviewed by the Government for future considerations.
