Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) is conducting market research to determine industry’s capability to provide Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) direct replacement parts and components for the USS SOMERSET (LPD-25) to overhaul two (2) of the ship’s main propulsion diesel engines (MPDE). This is in direct support of the upcoming FY25 Dry Docking Selected Restricted Availability (DSRA). See Product Description List (Enclosure (1)). The contractor shall furnish ALL materials required in the Product Description List. SWRMC is especially interested in determining small business capability and interest. SWRMC is contemplating award of a firm fixed price contract for the requirement specified in the attached Product Description List.
