Additionally, there are requirements that may be required elsewhere within the continental United States (CONUS) or outside of the continental United States (OCONUS). The Contractor, under the direction of MARMC as an independent Contractor and not as an agent of the Government, shall furnish the necessary management, technical support, labor, material, equipment, and facilities to accomplish repair and refurbishment of MK-41 Vertical Launch Systems (VLS) on board U.S. Navy and/or other military type vessels. This will be a Firm Fixed Price/Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (FFP/IDIQ) contract. The period of performance will be a base year, with a one-year option period. The applicable NAICS code is 336611 (Ship Building and Repair) with a small business size standard of 1,300 employees.
