A Justification and Approval has been prepared. The period of performance (POP) is estimated to be March 2024 to September 2024. PSNS & IMF, in support of a USS SEAWOLF class submarine, requires refurbishment of the Low Cost Conformal Array (LCCA) Acoustic Modules. The Acoustic Modules were tested, found SAT, and are in requirement of refurbishment. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to remove delaminated, damaged, or deteriorated primer, paint and epoxy. Clean and wash Triple Module Assemblies (TMA) base plate(s), apply required coating(s), inspect and clean mounting hardware. Repair and refurbish with new adhesive, paint, and Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP). Inspect and clean base plate mounting hardware. Test Acoustic Modules (AM) and Outboard Electronics (OBES). The services described above will take place at the Contractor's facility. As a result, shipping/receiving of Government Furnished Property (GFP) will be involved.
