The contract is expected to be awarded under FAR 13.106((b)(1)(i). The delivery date shall be 31Oct2024. Original equipment manufacturer is Fourinox Inc. Demineralizers manufactured by Fourinox Inc. meet the required critical interaction of precision parts that is essential for reliability and safety will not need to be retested or evaluated for use by PSNS & IMF. This requirement is to provide eight (8) three-cubic foot demineralizer tanks to be used for radiological water processing. The requirement includes fabricating, testing, and inspecting three-cubic foot round vertical 304 Stainless Steel demineralizer tanks. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 333310- Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing with a size Standard of 1,000 employees. The Product Service Code for this acquisition is 4610, Water Purification Equipment Products THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; no solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. However, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency no later than 22May2024 at 10:00am Pacific Standard Time. Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information by email only with subject line stating - RESPONSE TO INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE FOR N4523A24Q4048. A determination to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
