This will be a sole source requirement due to the essence of time that the additional work needs to be completed and the current contractor is currently doing work in the same location and already possess the clearances and knowledge of what is needed for a seamless transition of performance.. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238210. Interested vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. An Other Than Full and Open Competition Justification is attached to this notice. The circumstances permitting Other Than Full and Open Competition is Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy Agency requirements." The intent of this synopsis is to determine if any sources exist, and therefore, no Request for Quote (RFQ) is available.
