A minimum of three days’ notice must be given to the technical point of contact before pickup. Lifting and Handling not applicable due to fire extinguishers in boxes and on a pallet that will be moved via a forklift. PKP cylinders are non-hazardous and are not subject to hazardous waste regulations. NNSY requires only the vendor to collect and transport the fire extinguishers off of the compound. How they are disposed of is at the discretion of the vendor. NNSY does not require the vendor to have an approved facility.
