The following are specialty qualifications necessary to perform this work: The Project Manager shall supervise a qualified crew of divers throughout the duration of this contract. Boat operators shall have completed a boaters safety course and have a valid Boating Safety Certificate. Divers shall have a minimum of one-year commercial diving experience in the applicable position; divers shall have completed at least four (4) working dives with similar decompression techniques, diving techniques, and equipment utilized under this contract. Divers shall demonstrate that at least one (1) of the four (4) qualified dives were performed in the last six (6) months prior to the contract award date. Each dive team member shall have a current certification in CPR, first aid, use of emergency oxygen systems, and all other applicable qualifications listed in the OSHA 29 CFR 1910.410. This is a Sources Sought Synopsis announcement, a market survey for information to be used for preliminary planning purposes. The information received will be used within the Navy to facilitate the decision-making process and will not be disclosed outside of the agency. The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors for market research purposes and to determine whether to set-aside the requirement for small business concerns. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any requested follow-up information.
